CHOCOLATE CARAMEL CAKE 
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. caramels
1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
2/3 c. milk
12 oz. Cool Whip

Prepare cake mix according to directions. Pour 1/2 in 9x13 inch cake pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Melt caramels and milk in double boiler or microwave. Pour mixture over baked cake. Add rest of cake batter. Finish baking according to package directions.

Frost when cool with 1 package pudding and 2/3 cup milk. Mix, then fold in Cool Whip.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
