FRUIT COCKTAIL DESSERT 
1 (#2) can fruit cocktail, drained
1 c. sugar
1 c. self-rising flour
1 egg, beaten
Whipping cream
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 sm. bottles maraschino cherries

Combine fruit cocktail and egg. Add flour, sugar and 1/2 cup of the brown sugar to fruit cocktail mixture; mix well. Pour into an 8x12 inch glass baking dish. Sprinkle with nuts and reserved brown sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with cherries and whipped cream.
