TEX - MEX MARINADE 
1/4 c. tomato-based chili sauce or ketchup
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce, or to taste
For garnish: chopped cilantro

Mix all ingredients except garnish in a small bowl.
