3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks, beaten
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Put all ingredients together and bring to a boil for about 2 minutes. Turn off heat and add butter and vanilla. If you want chocolate pudding, add about 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
