HAWAIIAN MEAT BALLS 
MEAT BALLS:

1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. chopped onion
Few grains of pepper

SAUCE:

1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. pineapple juice
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. water
1/2 c. sugar
4 slices pineapple rounds (canned and cut in pieces)
3 lg. bell peppers, cut in 1 inch squares

Mix meat ball ingredients and form 18 or more meat balls. Brown and drain and set aside.

Sauce: Put oil in medium pan. Add pineapple juice and cook over low heat a few minutes. Add mixture of cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar, water and sugar. Cook until sauce thickens, stirring constantly. Add pineapple and green peppers and meat balls. Heat thoroughly until green peppers are slightly cooked. Yield: 6-8 servings.
