CREAM CHEESE WALNUT COOKIES 
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (11 oz.) box pie crust mix
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream together cream cheese, butter, sugar and salt. Add vanilla and egg. Add pie crust mix; beat until smooth. Stir in nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten with floured fork to about 1/4-inch. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Let stand 1 minute. Remove from oven. Cookies do not have to be flattened. They may be drop cookies.
