D'S RED BEANS AND RICE | |
2 lbs. dry red beans 1 lg. bell pepper, diced 1 lg. onion, diced 3 stems celery, diced 2 cayenne peppers, diced 1/2 tsp. ground cayenne pepper 1 tsp. salt 1 lb. smoked turkey sausage, sliced thin In large slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Add water to cover 4 inches above beans. Cook on high for about 2 hours, then on low for 6 hours. Serve over cooked rice. |
