SWEDISH MEAT BALLS 
3 c. bread crumbs
1 1/2 c. milk
3 lb. ground chuck
3 eggs, beaten
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 (10 oz.) cans beef broth
1 (10 oz.) can beef gravy

Soak bread crumbs in milk for about 5 minutes. Combine crumb mixture with meat and eggs. Add onion and spices and mix well. Shape into small balls. Place on baking sheet and brown in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 minutes.

Place meatballs in crock pot or on top of stove in Dutch oven. Add broth and gravy. Cover and cook approximately 1 hour on top of stove or 4 hours on low setting of crock pot. Yield: 4 dozen.
