SALTED PEANUT CHEWS 
1 1/2 c. unbleached flour
2/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
2 egg yolks

TOPPING:

3 c. miniature marshmallows
2/3 c. corn syrup
1/2 stick butter
2 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. peanut butter chips
2 c. crispy rice cereal
2 c. salted peanuts

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all crust ingredients until crumbly. Press into bottom of ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until light golden brown. Immediately with marshmallows and bake for 1 to 2 minutes until they begin to puff. Cool.

In large pan, heat corn syrup, butter, vanilla, and peanut butter chips until mixture is smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in cereal and nuts. Spoon warm topping over marshmallow and spread to cover. Cool and cut into bars.
