TAMALE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 pkg. chili seasoning mix
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn
1 (3 1/4 oz.) can sm. pitted black olives, drained
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. cold water
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Brown ground beef in skillet until crumbly. Add onions, green pepper, seasoned salt, chili seasoning mix, and tomatoes. Combine thoroughly. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add corn and olives and mix together. Spread this mixture in a 2 quart oblong baking dish, then combine cornmeal, salt, and cold water. Cook until thick, about 15 minutes. Spread cooked cornmeal over beef mixture evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Sprinkle grated cheese over top and bake for another 5 minutes.
