BANANA CHIPS 
4 green-tipped bananas
1/4 c. flour
2 c. vegetable oil
Salt

Peel bananas and thinly slice about 1/8 inch thick. Dredge slices in flour to coat lightly. In a wok or large heavy saucepan, heat oil to 375 degrees on a deep-frying thermometer. Add banana slices in batches without crowding and fry 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain chips on paper towels and sprinkle with salt to taste.
