DANISH PUFF 
1 c. or 2 sticks butter
2 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cold water

Cut 1 stick butter into 1 cup flour. Add cold water and stir well. Divide dough in half; press in cookie sheet. Makes 2 cakes.

1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. almond extract
1 stick butter

Bring to a boil and add the other cup of flour. Next add 3 eggs, one at a time. Spread over dough in cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes.

GLAZE:

2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. cream
1/2 tsp. salt
