1 c. sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened

Mix all above ingredients like pie crust with fork. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Add 1 egg, 1 cup buttermilk, and 1 teaspoon baking soda. Mix well. Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with reserved mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. This is perfect to make the night before.
