SPECIAL FROZEN CAKE | |
13 eggs 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 pkg. (7 oz.) ground almonds 1 pkg. (7 oz.) ground filberts Separate eggs, beat whites with sugar until it forms peaks. Fold in filberts and almonds. Line bottom of pan with wax paper. Pour in batter and bake 20-25 minutes at 375 degrees. 2ND STEP: 3/4 c. sugar 2 sticks butter 2 pkg. vanilla sugar 1/2 lb. chocolate chips Mix yolks with 3/4 cup sugar, 1 1/2 sticks butter and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Melt chocolate chips with 1/2 stick butter and add to mixture. Pour on top of baked cake. Return to oven. Bake additional 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool and freeze. Serve frozen. |
