FRESH PRUNE DUMPLINGS 
3 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. sifted flour
Melted butter
5 lg. fresh prunes
Sugar
Cinnamon
Cottage cheese

Beat eggs. Sift the flour, salt, and baking powder 3 times. Add milk; beat thoroughly. Place on floured board and roll out about 1/2 inch thick. Cut dough into 3 inch squares.

Roll each piece around a fresh prune. Pinch the edges together so that the dough encases the fruit firmly, so water will not seep in. Place each dumpling into boiling salted water and boil about 10 minutes; drain. Arrange on a platter. Sprinkle with sugar, melted butter, cottage cheese, and cinnamon. Serve hot.
