APPLE MUFFINS 
1 3/4 c. flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. finely diced Granny Smith apples
2/3 c. raisins
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. wheat germ
2 eggs
1/2 c. nuts

Mix all dry ingredients together. Add the rest of ingredients. Mix until moist. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Yields 18 muffins.
