PUMPKIN COOKIES 
2 c. pumpkin
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. Crisco
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients in order; drop cookie sheet and bake 12 minutes at 375 degrees.

Icing: Boil together 1 cup brown sugar, 4 tablespoons butter, 1/4 cup milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Let cool a little. Add powdered sugar to spread consistency. Ice cookies after they cool.
