TOFFEE BARS 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 (9 3/4 oz.) Hershey bar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour and salt. Spread in 13 x 10 inch cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until nicely browned. Spread on chocolate frosting and cut into small squares while still warm.

FROSTING:

9 3/4 oz. chocolate bar
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. butter

Combine all ingredients in saucepan on medium heat until melted. Spread on hot cookies and sprinkle with chopped nuts or sprinkles if desired.
