SAVORY VEGETABLE SOUP 
Beef bones and pieces of boiling beef
1 tbsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 qts. water
1 c. diced raw potatoes
1/2 c. diced celery
1 c. sliced carrots
1 c. shredded cabbage
1 c. or can corn (whole kernel)
2 c. cut green beans
1 can tomatoes (with bits of tomato in) or 2 c. cooked tomatoes

Boil beef bones and meat until almost tender. Add remaining ingredients and cook until meat and vegetables are tender, approximately 1 hour.
