TATER - CRISP CHICKEN 
1/4 c. butter
1 c. instant mashed potato flakes
1 tsp. garlic salt
2 to 3 lbs. frying chicken, cut up

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Put butter in 13 x 9 inch baking pan to melt. Combine potato flakes and salt in plastic bag. Rinse chicken in cold water. Shake in plastic bag; place skin side down in melted butter. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
