SHOO - FLY CAKE 
4 c. flour
1 lb. box brown sugar
1 c. butter
2 c. boiling water
1 c. molasses
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped walnuts, optional

Combine flour, brown sugar, butter, and nuts until mixture is crumbly. Reserve 1 cup. Mix boiling water, molasses, and soda. Add to remaining crumb mixture; mix well.

Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle reserved crumbs evenly over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
