PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH SHOO-FLY CAKE | |
4 c. flour 2 c. brown sugar 1 c. butter 2 c. boiling water 2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. molasses Work flour, sugar, and butter into fine crumbs. Set aside 1 1/2 cups for topping. Mix water, molasses, and baking soda together, and add remaining crumbs. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Winter Park Lodge 64A, F.O.P.A. |
