HALUSKI - POTATO DUMPLINGS 
3 lg. potatoes, grated
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. butter
1 chopped onion
3-4 qts. boiling water

Mix potatoes, egg, flour and salt together. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon into boiling water and boil for 15 minutes. When cooked, add 1 cup cold water to set dumplings and drain. Saute onion in butter and mix into dumplings.
