YUMMY FLAKY PASTRY 
6 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. shortening
2 tbsp. oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 stick butter

Combine flour, salt, shortening, oil, buttermilk and butter to make a smooth dough. Divide into six individual parts and freeze. When ready to use, thaw and roll out using basic rules for making pastry. This recipe is used for bazaar pies.
