ORANGE BLOSSOMS (COOKIES) 
1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 1/2 lbs. powdered sugar
Juice of 3 oranges
Juice of 2 lemons
Grated lemon and orange rind

Prepare cake mix according to directions. Don't use any other kind (you get more cookies).

Bake following the directions on box in bite-size pieces (1/2 inch). Use 1/2 teaspoon batter. Let stand for about 5 minutes - they will come out better.

Add juices to sugar, but not all at one time. Don't get too thin. If too thin, add more sugar.

Roll cookies in mixture; turn upside down on waxed paper until the next day, then turn over on clean wax paper to dry.

NOTE: This is a recipe for cookies, NOT pastries and should not be confused with any pastries which can be store bought.

Yield: Makes 90 to 100 cookies.
