CARAMEL BARS 
32 caramels
5 tbsp. cream
1 c. flour
1 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, soda, salt and butter in bowl until crumbly. Press half of mixture in 9x13 inch pan.

Melt caramels in cream together. Bake crumb mixture in 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips, nuts over top. Cover with caramel mixture spreading carefully.

Sprinkle with remaining crumbs and bake another 12-15 minutes. Cut bars while still warm.
