QUICK SAUSAGE SUPPER 
1 lb. sausage
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
16 oz. can tomatoes
4 oz. can mushroom stems and pieces
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
10 refrigerator biscuits, quartered
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Brown sausage with onion in Dutch oven, stirring until crumbly; drain. Sprinkle with flour. Stir in vegetables and seasonings. Cook until slightly thickened, stirring constantly. Simmer for several minutes. Top with biscuits. Sprinkle cheese over the top. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-16 minutes or until golden brown.

NOTE: I often brown meat in a skillet and thicken as listed and then transfer mixture to a casserole dish before topping with biscuits and cheese instead of using a Dutch oven.
