FETTUCCINE ALFREDO 
1 lb. fettuccine
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Half & half

Cook the fettuccine in plenty of boiling salted water for about 2 minutes; drain. In a large, warm bowl have ready the butter cut into small pieces. Add a little of the water from the cooked pasta along with a little half & half. Add fettuccine immediately after draining. Add cheese, a little at a time, tossing constantly. Serve at once. Makes 4 servings.
