HOT FUDGE TOPPING 
4 tbsp. butter
4 squares semi-sweet chocolate
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 lrg. can evaporated milk
dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate and butter together in a saucepan. Add sugar, milk and salt. Cook slowly at low heat until thickened; about 15 minutes. Add vanilla.

Ready to serve over ice cream.
