CRUSTY BEEF, CHEESE AND NOODLE
CASSEROLE
 
2 lbs. beef, ground
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 (10 1/4 oz.) cans meatless mushroom sauce
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded or grated
1 lb. flat noodles, cooked & drained
1 tsp. seasoned salt

Heat oil, add onion and cook until golden brown. Add meat and cook until it loses its red color. Add mushroom sauce and salt. Heat. Arrange in casserole half of the cooked noodles, half of the sauce and half of the cheese. Sprinkle with seasoned salt. Make another layer of noodles, add sauce and top with cheese. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1 hour. Top should be nicely browned.
