LORNA'S CHRISTMAS JELLO SALAD | |
My kids calls this "THE PINK STUFF". 1 cup milk 23 regular size marshmallows 1 (3 oz.) pkg. raspberry jello 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut into small pieces 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, do not drain 1/2 (15 oz.) can jelly cranberry sauce 1 cup mayonnaise 1 cup Cool Whip In a medium saucepan add milk and marshmallows. Heat over medium heat just until marshmallows melt. Stir frequently to keep from burning on bottom of pan. In a mixer bowl add raspberry jello and pour in the milk/marshmallow mix. Turn mixer on slow speed and scrape bottom and sides frequently until all is mixed well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix just until blended. It will have chunks from the pineapple, cranberry jelly and cream cheese. Pour into a large serving bowl or into a 9x13-inch rectangular baking dish. Let cool in refrigerator until set. If you put in a rectangular dish you can cut into serving pieces and put onto a small dish with a lettuce leaf. My kids have always just liked it straight out of the bowl! Submitted by: Lorna |
