HICKORY NUT CAKE | |
1/4 c. butter 1 c. milk 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. hickory nuts 1 c. sugar 2 egg whites 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla Cream butter, add sugar; mix well. Add milk, then the flour with the dry ingredients. Add nuts, then fold in beaten egg whites and vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. |
