CARAMEL FROSTING 
1 c. brown sugar, packed
Pinch of salt
5 tbsp. milk or cream
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar

In pan, mix sugar, salt, milk or cream and butter. Heat to the boiling point, stirring constantly. Cool and stir in vanilla. Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth and creamy.
