ABSOLUTELY YUMMY GARDEN BURGERS 
1 c. quick (1-minute) oats (uncooked)
1 c. no-fat or low-fat cottage cheese
2 egg whites
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix (optional)

Mix ingredients well and make 4 patties. Heat a small amount of oil (I like canola) in nonstick skillet to medium. Brown patties on both sides, they are a little crispy (for better texture). Melt cheese on top and serve immediately because they cool off a bit faster than meat burgers. Use your favorite meat-burger toppings. For grilling out cook first as above except for melting cheese. Then grill just long enough to reheat and then melt cheese. They can be frozen after cooking. You can store them uncooked in refrigerator for upon to a week.
