TURKEY - SAUERKRAUT PITA
SANDWICHES
 
1 lb. ground turkey sausage
2-3 c. sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. (or more to taste) horseradish
6-8 pocket pitas

Saute green pepper and onion in large saucepan with butter. Add ground turkey sausage and brown, crumbling as you stir. Add sauerkraut, mustard and horseradish. Heat approximately 15-20 minutes. Spoon into pocket halves.
