THREE BEAN SALAD 
1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans
1 1/2 c. kidney or red beans ( or substitute 1 (16 oz.) can
1 med. sliced mild onion
1 cup cider vinegar
1 tsp. oil (canola or corn)
1 tsp. basil
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can cut wax beans
1/2 c. diced green bell pepper
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Dash of garlic powder

Rinse and drain beans, place in large glass dish. Add thinly sliced onion and green pepper. Place all other ingredients in a large microwave pitcher. Heat in microwave, on high, for two minutes. Stir, pour over beans. Stir mixture together, cover and refrigerate. After a few hours, stir again. This tastes best if it's prepared twenty four hours before serving time. Keeps in the refrigerator for several days.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
