SAUSAGE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. sausage meat (hot or mild) 1 c. chopped onions 1 c. chopped celery 1 c. raw rice (long grain) 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup Brown sausage in heavy skillet and drain on paper towels. Reserve enough fat to lightly brown onion and celery. Mix all ingredients and pour into casserole. Do not dilute soups. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until rice is tender. Serves 6. Men love this. This recipe is an original recipe from Tom Perkins' aunt. |
