SAUSAGE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. sausage 1 1/4 c. dry minute rice 1 c. chopped onion 1 c. chopped celery 1 c. chopped bell pepper 1 c. chopped mushrooms 2 cans soup (1 mushroom, 1 chicken or any combination) 2 1/2 c. water 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Cheese Pecans if desired Brown sausage. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Put dry rice in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Layer sausage, onion, celery, pepper and mushrooms. Combine soup and water. Pour over slowly. Grate cheese on top. Add nuts if desired. Bake at 325-350 degrees for 1 hour. |
