1 1/2 lbs. hamburger 1 med. onion, chopped 1 sm. can mushrooms 2 cans tomato sauce 4 tbsp. Wesson oil 1/2 lg. bell pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1 can (tomato sauce can) water Place oil in large skillet and heat to a medium hot; add onions and hamburger, stirring frequently, until brown and well done. Add mushrooms and chopped green pepper. Salt to taste. Add tomato sauce and water; simmer 30 to 35 minutes. Cook 1 1/4 cups small size macaroni until well done and tender. Drain. Add to hamburger mixture. Toss all together and serve with tossed salad and garlic bread. |
