FOUR BEAN SALAD | |
1/2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2/3 c. oil 2/3 c. vinegar 1 can (16 oz.) garbanzo beans, drained 1 can (16 oz.) green beans, drained 1 can (16 oz.) yellow wax beans, drained 1 can (16 oz.) red kidney beans, drained 1 sm. onion, cut into rings Combine sugar, salt, oil and vinegar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Drain beans thoroughly and add onion rings. Pour dressing over beans and let marinate for 2 hours. Serve about one cup of mixture on each of 8 lettuce leaves. Makes 8 servings. |
