COMMUNION BREAD | |
1 1/2 c. whipping cream 1/4 c. sugar Unsalted melted butter, the size of an egg Add enough flour to make like pie dough Mix well with spoon. Place on bread board. Add more flour. Knead with hands adding more flour as needed so will not stick. Knead 40 to 50 minutes. Will be smooth and shining. Divide or cut in 3 parts. Roll 1 part out about like pie crust, using a ruler to cut strips about 1 inch wide. When cut, use fork to pierce strips before baking. Bake on bottom of shallow pyrex dish 325 to 350 degrees. (Do not let it brown.) Cut in desired size. |
