APRICOT NUT BREAD 
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2 egg whites
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. orange juice
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt (may be omitted)
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. dried apricots, cut fine

Mix butter, sugar, and egg whites. Stir in water and juice. Sift flour, baking powder, soda, and salt together. Add nuts and apricots. Add liquid mixture. Stir well. Pour into greased pan and let stand 20 minutes before putting into oven. Bake 55 to 60 minutes in 350 degree oven.
