ARLENE'S SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 lg. onion
2 cloves garlic
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. spice salad Italian seasoning
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 lg. bay leaf
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (12 oz.) can water
1 tsp. black pepper
1 1/2 lb. ground turkey or beef

Chop onion and garlic. Saute in cooking oil until transparent. Chop tomatoes in blender and pour into large pot. Add all other ingredients except meat. Cook slow stirring frequently for about an hour. Brown meat and season with a little seasoning salt and Italian seasoning. Add to sauce and simmer an extra 30 minutes or longer. Can be made without meat. Easy and can be frozen.
