LIME SHERBET 
1 pkg (3 oz.) lime gelatin
1 c boiling water
3 c 1% milk
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c lemon juice

Or Use:

1 pkg (3 oz.) lime gelatin
1 c boiling water
3 c half and half
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c lemon juice
1 can sweetened condensed milk

In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add milk, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour into a freezer container. Freeze for 4 hours or until frozen. Remove from freezer and let stand for 10 minutes or until slightly softened. Beat with a mixer until light and fluffy. Refreeze at least one hour.

Yield about 1 quart.
