HAMBURGERS BURGUNDY 
3/4 lb. ground beef
Salt
1 English muffin, split
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. chopped green onion
1 sm. clove of garlic, chopped
1/8 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. Spice Islands beef stock base
1/4 c. Burgundy wine

Shape beef into 2 patties. Sprinkle sizzling hot skillet with salt. Add ground beef patties; cook over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Remove burgers to toasted muffins; drain off excess fat.

In same skillet, add butter, onion, garlic, and basil. Cook until onion is tender. Combine beef stock base and wine; pour into pan. Bring just to boiling. Spoon over hamburgers and serve open-faced. Serves 2.
