NEVER FAIL NO KNEAD BREAD | |
1 rounded tbsp. dry yeast (2 pkg.) 2/3 c. lukewarm water 2 tsp. honey 3 tbsp. molasses 2/3 c. lukewarm water 2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour 2 1/2 c. white flour 1 tbsp. salt 1/3 c. wheat germ 1 1/3 c. lukewarm water 1 tsp. sesame seeds Sprinkle yeast over 2/3 cup water. Add 2 teaspoons honey and mix well. Add molasses and 2/3 cup more water to the first mixture. Mix dry ingredients together; flour, salt, and wheat germ. Add flour mixture to the liquid mixture, then add the remaining 1 1/3 cups water. Dough will be very sticky but stir as evenly as possible. Grease a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan thoroughly and turn dough into it. Even off top with fork and make series of holes with tines over the whole top. Sprinkle sesame seeds over top. Let rise in a warm spot 45 to 60 minutes until the dough has risen nearly level with the pan top. Bake 45 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool 10 minutes on rack before removing from pan. |
