BUTTER CREAM FROSTING 
1/2 c. Crisco
1/3 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. scalded milk
1 egg white
1 tsp. vanilla

Scald milk and cool. Cream butter, Crisco and sugar; beat real good until sugar has dissolved. Then add vanilla and mix. Add cooled milk and beat. Add egg white and beat until creamy.
