NORWEGIAN PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. diced raw apple
1/2 pt. heavy cream
1 sm. can crushed pineapple
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat sugar and egg together. Add dry ingredients. Fold in nuts and apples. Bake in a greased pie plate at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Whip 1/2 pint heavy whipping cream. Fold in small can of crushed pineapple, well drained. Place on top of baked pie.

(Dream Whip can be substituted for whipping cream.)
