1 c. water
2 sticks butter (melted)
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
3 eggs beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil. Mix flour, sugar, soda and salt together. Mix both of these along with the remaining ingredients until well mixed and smooth. Bake in sheet pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Chocolate frosting:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. buttermilk
1 box 10X sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring first three ingredients to a boil. Add sugary and vanilla. Spread on sheet cake while still warm.
