HOT 'N' SPICY BARBECUE SAUCE 
2 c. Catsup
2 c. dark Karo syrup
1 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. prepared mustard
3/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. cider vinegar
3 cloves garlic
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. crushed red pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. iodized salt
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce (or add to taste)

Mix all ingredients together, bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hour. Cool and store in refrigerator.

Good with ribs, chicken, and pork.

Makes about 1 quart.
